is a photo of my g-grandfather, William Allen Quarles. He had blood
poisoning in his leg. He had gotten it from a blister on his foot.
They thought that he was not going to survive it, but he did and
lived many years after. In this photo he is at a barber shop, which
acted as the local "hosptial" ;) |
