About this collection:

All of these photos came from my grandmother Rosie Lee Quarles-Williams. Many of the photos belonged to Mary Etter Grimmitt-Quarles and they were given to my grandmother when she passed away. That is why there seems to be so many photo's of the Grimmitt's, which ironically is one of my family lines that I know the least about. The Williams photo's are photos that my grandfather had and some were given to my grandmother by Faye Williams. There was a huge case full of old Williams pictures that my grandmother put together after my g-grandfather, Elvin George Williams died. She said she gave it to his son, Hardy Leon Williams. Hardy passed away March 9, 2003. We are unable to find the old Williams photos that were given to Hardy . But, around 1998, I called Hardy on the telephone trying to find any information about the Williams side and he had less infomation than I already knew. He never mentioned any photos. So, as far as the Unknowns go, they could be of any surname really. I am hoping that someone could possibly identify them for me.
